Our rates are:
For small non-corporate indoor events we charge from $450 (+GST) for up to 3 hours, additional hours from $100 (+GST) per hour. This includes us and all our VJ equipment, but does NOT include projector/screen hire.
For small corporate indoor events we charge from $600 (+GST) for up to 3 hours, additional hours from $150 (+GST) per hour. As with the above, this includes us and all our VJ equipment, but does NOT include projector/screen hire.
For bespoke content, outdoor projection and bigger events, we quote on a case by case basis.
We own the following projectors (cost per night):
Semi-Pro projectors (fixed lens):
Epson EB-L630SU Laser 6,000 lumens WUXGA (ultra HD) ultra-short throw ($600+GST)
Pro projectors (interchangeable lens):
Epson EB-L1505UNL Laser 12,000 lumens WUXGA (ultra HD) standard throw ($2500+GST)
Long or short-throw lens for above, if available ($150+GST)
How many you need depends on the space – often, one is enough. How big it needs to be depends on the type of content and the ambient light level. We will usually do a site visit and/or test projection if we have not worked at the venue before.
We charge 50% of an event night for a test night, and we require a 50% deposit on booking.
We do NOT “dry-hire” – our projectors are only available when you are hiring us for your gig. That way we know that they’re looked after, always have a fresh bulb for optimum brightness etc. They are our tools of trade, we’re not an AV hire company.
Large corporate events and festivals are quoted on an individual basis, depending on what’s required, how many people will be attending, if we need to develop new content etc.
