Our rates are:
For small non-corporate indoor events we charge from $300 (+GST) for up to 3 hours, additional hours from $100 (+GST) per hour.
For small corporate indoor events we charge from $450 (+GST) for up to 3 hours, additional hours from $150 (+GST) per hour. This includes us and all our VJ equipment, but does NOT include projector/screen hire.
For outdoor projection and bigger events, we quote on a case by case basis.

Non-Pro projectors (fixed lens):
BenQ 3200 lumens XGA short throw ($250+GST)
Sony 5000 lumens HD standard throw ($400+GST)
Pro projectors (interchangeable lens):
Sanyo XF-1000 12,000 lumens XGA standard throw ($1500+GST)
Long or short-throw lens for above, if available ($80+GST)
Epson EB-L1505UNL Laser 12,000 lumens WUXGA (ultra HD) standard throw ($2500+GST)
Long or short-throw lens for above, if available ($150+GST)
How many you need depends on the space – often, one is enough. How big it needs to be depends on the type of content and the ambient light level. We will usually do a site visit if we have not worked at the venue before.
We don’t charge for same-day set-up time, but we do charge our basic minimum rate and 50% of the largest projector used for testing.
We do NOT “dry-hire” – our projectors are only available when you are hiring us for your gig. That way we know that they’re looked after, always have a fresh bulb for optimum brightness etc. They are our tools of trade, we’re not an AV hire company.
Large corporate events and festivals are quoted on an individual basis, depending on what’s required, how many people will be attending, if we need to develop new content etc.
