National Youth Week Launch

‘JUST ADD YOU’ LAUNCH

Propelarts and Office for Children and Youth will kick start this year’s National Youth Week WA Launch with a youth art showcase that will see the newly refurbished Arts House building in Northbridge taken over by the work of young WA artists from across diverse art-forms and backgrounds.

Along with celebrating ALL young people across WA the youth art showcase will add a creative twist to this year’s Youth Week launch.

This year Office for Children and Youth join forces with WA’s peak youth arts body, Propelarts, to launch National Youth Week in WA. In keeping with the “Just Add You” theme for National Youth Week, young WA visual artists, musicians, dancers and performers will “Add” their creative work for showcasing at the launch.

The youth art showcase will satisfy hunger across various art forms including performance, digital projections and visual arts that will leave you questioning “how old are they again?” The showcase will take over the inside and outside of the newly refurbished Arts House complex in the Cultural Centre situated in Northbridge.

We do warn that this event is not for the light-hearted, young people mixed with creative outlets may result in a renaissance.

This renaissance will take place at the Arts House building, 53 James street Northbridge on March 31st between 5-7pm.
