Putting
on an Act 05 - drug aware short performance festival
From
the wildly experimental to the outrageously funny; sometimes
witty and sophisticated; at other times sombre or even
silly, Putting on an Act provides a unique opportunity
to see what WA’s independent performance makers
are up to.
The
full gamut of original and experimental performance is
served in bite-sized pieces, encompassing dance, spoken
word performance, physical theatre, live or audio-visual
art. With a different program of short performances every
night, each restricted to 15 minutes duration and often
accompanied by slide and video projection, this rapid-fire
performance season has proven immensely popular since
its inception in 1994.
